These Auction Policies apply to all bidders, consignors, and visitors participating in any auction hosted by Buddy’s Auction Barn (“The Barn,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By registering to bid or placing a bid, you agree to the terms below. --- 1. Registration Requirements All bidders must register with accurate name, address, email, and phone number. We reserve the right to approve, deny, or revoke bidding privileges at our discretion. A valid payment method may be required to register. --- 2. Bidding Terms All bids are final, binding, and irrevocable. Bidders are responsible for monitoring their bids and ensuring accuracy before submitting. The Barn is not responsible for slow internet, device issues, or bid placement errors. The auctioneer has full discretion to settle disputes between bidders. --- 3. Buyer’s Premium A buyer’s premium of [Insert %] will be added to all winning bids unless otherwise stated. Shipping Policy Shipping is available only if stated for a specific auction. Buyers are responsible for all shipping, handling, and insurance costs. The Barn is not responsible for damage during transit once items are handed to the carrier. --- 7. Item Descriptions & Condition All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties or guarantees. We make every effort to describe items accurately, but: Photos serve as the primary description. Measurements, conditions, and descriptions may contain human error. Bidders are encouraged to ask questions before bidding. --- 8. Preview/Inspection In-person preview may be offered and will be announced per auction. It is the bidder’s responsibility to inspect items before bidding when preview is available. --- 9. Returns & Refunds No refunds, returns, chargebacks, or exchanges are accepted. All sales are final. Chargebacks will be treated as theft and may result in legal action. --- 10. Forfeited Items Items may be considered forfeited if: Payment is not made within the required timeframe. Items are not collected by the pickup deadline. Attempts to contact the bidder fail. Forfeited items are disposed of at The Barn’s discretion with no refund. --- 11. Auctioneer Authority The auctioneer and The Barn reserve the right to: Reject bids Withdraw or re-catalog items Extend, pause, or cancel auctions Resolve tie bids or disputes Modify auction terms when necessary --- 12. Liability The Barn is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages occurring on premises during preview, pickup, or loading. Bidders assume full responsibility for safely removing their purchases. --- 13. Fraud & Misconduct We may suspend or permanently ban any bidder who: Fails to pay Attempts chargebacks Manipulates bidding Provides false registration information Engages in abusive or disruptive behavior --- 14. Consignor Policies (If the site will host consignors — remove if not applicable.) Consignors must provide accurate descriptions of items.
